Well, are you eating dead food? What is dead food? What is live food? Enzymes play a more important role than ever given credit. We have to look at how we consume food on a daily basis. We tend to eat out more than we eat in our home. This does not give us enough time to diagest our food. We need to chew our food at least 30 or more times with every bite. The reason for it so that the enzymes can be separated from the fiber("roughage"). With 60 trillion cells in our bodies you want to provide your highly enginnerred body with the proper food that provides life and energy. Enzymes are fatty molecules that speed up or slow down our system. Heat and cold do have an effect on the effectiveness of the enzymes in our body. Heat beyond 102 degrees destroys the enzymes while cold or freezing does not. So when visiting the market again you have choice of fresh vegetables and fruits or frozen vegetables and fruits.I have found by juicing you ingest live enzymes, which have not been subjected to hight heat and therefore, activate your diagestive process to pull the ingredients out of the juice. There is less energy required by your body to get those nutrients from the juice. You can chew the juice in your mouth while drinking. The important part is to separate the enzymes from the fiber which a juicer can through its centrifugal method.
